Printix Anywhere

Printix Anywhere is a single virtual print queue that decouples submitting from releasing. The user prints to “Printix Anywhere” once, then chooses which physical printer to release at, by phone, by web app, or at a Printix Go terminal. The same job can come out at the reception MFP or the warehouse printer, whichever the user reaches first.

For end users this removes the “I picked the wrong printer” reprint problem. For administrators it cuts the number of per-printer queues that have to be deployed. The flip side: if a job needs specific finishing options (stapling, particular paper trays), Print Later to a chosen printer is usually a better fit because the matching driver is used end-to-end.
